When you see the Skinvive syringe, it may look like filler, but they are very different. Both are made up of Hyaluronic acid (HA), which is something our bodies produce naturally, and helps maintain skin hydration, suppleness and volume. The difference lies in the structure of these HA molecules. If you’ve been in the studio and heard me talk about this treatment, you might have heard the ‘tissue paper vs. cardboard analogy’. Both are paper, but the structure of the two are very different. Traditional filler is more akin to cardboard- strong and able to withstand decent pressure. Skinvive would be more like tissue paper, thin and delicate, providing moisture and plumpness without the volume or structure. The tiny HA molecules are like magnets for water, drawing moisture into the skin for long lasting hydration.
