Where it All Began

I’m not sure if many of you know this about me- but my journey into aesthetics started off like many stories that my patients share with me;

I was dragged into the first appointment by a friend!

The burning desire to freeze my forhead seemed very attractive but equally scary. However, being strong-armed into a colleagues plastic surgery office by a good friend, I found myself intrigued with the process, the geeky pathophysiology behind the neurotoxin that was soon to be injected into my forehead sparked my curiosity… that initial ‘crunching’ feeling felt oddly satisfying. The first visit subconsciously lit the candle that is now a much, much brighter flame and changed the trajectory of my nursing career.

The first 10 years of my bedside nursing experiences were in an intensive care/critical care medicine setting, where attention to detail, acute changes in a patient’s condition, and education for patients and families was paramount. This foundational skillset is a necessity in the aesthetics industry! Shadowing a talented plastic surgeon led me to working at, and starting up, various other aesthetics locations over the past five years where I gained a ton of knowledge and skills from other colleagues and many trainings across the country. I finally took the biggest and most terrifying leap of my life in January… Welcome to Aiyana Atelier.

Many people ask about the meaning behind the name of my studio. I have strong Native American roots, and “Aiyana” loosely translates from the Cherokee language to mean “endless beauty” or “forever flowering”. “Atelier” seemed fitting as it is a French word meaning an ‘artist’s studio'. This harmony provides you an immediate glance at my vision for you. You are all so beautiful and worthy. It is not vain to want to improve things that bother you. This is human nature. We diet, we exercise, we wear make up, we get our haircut or done, we think twice before getting dressed. How you see yourself is a reflection of your presentation to the world. My mission is to help you have the best version of YOU, at any life stage, at any age, on any budget. Aesthetic medicine is an art that I truly enjoy because it embraces my passion for beauty, education, and medicine. I never saw myself in aesthetic medicine, but, I will tell you, I am so thankful for the universe, her divine intervention, and just enough magic.

Aiyana Atelier offers a variety of treatment services tailored to your individual needs, comfort, and goals. We specialize in the following aesthetic services: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Juvederm fillers, Restylane fillers, Radiesse, Sculptra (facial and body), Instalift sutures (consult required), Kybella, Aquagold, Microneedling, chemical peels, medical grade skincare and skin transformations for hard to treat skin conditions such as rosacea, acne scarring, melasma, and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Additionally, we carry PCA skin care products, select Revitalash cosmetics, and my own specially curated private line, Aiyana Atelier.

If you had asked me years ago if I would have aspirations of being the Founder and Owner of my own practice- I would never have believed you. I have learned to never say never… anything is possible when you have the drive, passion, and energy to create something that you want and believe in. Aiyana Atelier is exactly that for me, and my hope is that you feel that energy and passion as well from the moment you enter and throughout your journey.
